How BOIS The Label Dog Clothes Make a Difference

BOIS The Label is a company born out of a great love for dogs and fashion. In the midst of the global pandemic in 2020, Cristina Velez needed a jumper for her family’s tripod staffy, “Loki.” She searched high and low across the internet and was met with a ton of dog clothing for small dogs, but little to no options for big dog clothes that would work for Loki. 

So began Cristina’s journey to making dog clothes that are inclusive and ethically sound. By prioritizing quality fabrics, BOIS The Label, thoughtfully named after “the bois” Leroy and Loki, makes big dog clothes that last. Where there is joy there is constant creativity and new dog clothing designs. See some of our favorite designs so far.

Our Commitment to Dog Rescues & Charities

BOIS The Label donates $2 from every order to a nonprofit organization to help animals in need. We have donated $23,000 in total to charities over the years. Your new favorite dog hat is not only precious, but actively helping animals in need. 

Charities that we most frequently donate to are local animal shelters, Pets of the Homeless, and Project Underdog. We’re proud supporters of animal rescue and rehabilitation. As our business grows so does our contribution to local charities and our ability to help dogs in need. 

What We Make: Crafting and Creating Dog Clothes

BOIS The Label’s CEO Cristina spends her time designing and sewing patterns when she’s not cuddling her dog and favorite model, Leroy. Her sweet boy, Leroy, loves wearing his BOIS pjs to stay warm on cold nights. With a degree in Fashion from the Fashion Institute in New York paired with a great love of animals, Cristina’s passion has been channeled into BOIS The Label.

All of our dog hoodies and reversible dog hats are 100% original designs—the result of trial and error to create the best design possible. Our dog hoodies have a unique double band that Cristina designed specifically for the comfort of your dog so the neck of the dog hoodie sits high and does not stretch out or slide down.
